My Favorite Japanese Learning Tools

I think Bunpro has been one of the best apps I have used in my time studying Japanese. I don't think there is any other app that lets you study grammar in this way. Most other apps will have a list of grammar points or sell you ebooks but very few that I have seen use the SRS system. When I first signed up they already had a decent sized list of grammer points broken down by JLPT level but now they have expaned to vocab as well.

In all they have aroundf 10k words from JLPT N5 to N1 which is extensive so you should be well covered if you don't want to make your own Anki deck.

One of the best things about Bunpro is that it has a lifetime subscription model so once you buy it that is it, no more worrying about monthly subscriptions. It is farly priced and the best part is if you buy an annual subscription and decide part way through that you want a lifetime subscription, they give you a discount based on the unused time.

iKnow has been one of the few vocab tools that actually stuck with me. It keeps things simple, gives you reviews exactly when you need them, and somehow makes drilling words feel less like a chore. If you want something reliable to fill in the gaps of your Japanese study routine, this is the one I always end up coming back to.

One thing I really like is their mobile app which gets regular updates. It is very easy to open it up and get a few reviews in.
